The short version: AllSaid processes everything locally on your Mac. We don't collect, store, or transmit your audio, transcripts, or any personal data. Your conversations stay on your device.
What data does AllSaid collect?
None. AllSaid is designed from the ground up to be privacy-first:
- All audio recordings are stored only on your Mac
- All transcription happens locally using on-device AI
- No account or sign-up required
- No analytics or tracking
- No network requests after initial setup (model download)
Audio & Transcription Data
Your audio files and transcripts are stored in your local application data folder. They never leave your device. You can delete them at any time through the app, and they will be permanently removed from your Mac.
License Verification
If you purchase a paid license, we use a third-party payment processor (Paddle) to handle transactions. The only information we receive is confirmation of your purchase status. We do not receive or store your payment details.
Third-Party Services
AllSaid does not integrate with any third-party services that would access your data. The app works entirely offline after the initial setup.
Data Security
Since all data remains on your device, security is managed through your Mac's built-in protections. We recommend keeping your macOS up to date and using FileVault disk encryption for additional security.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be communicated through the app.
