Terms of Service
The short version: Use AllSaid responsibly and legally. Respect others' privacy when recording. We provide the software "as is" and aren't liable for how you use it.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using AllSaid ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
AllSaid is a macOS application that records audio from your system and microphone, transcribes it locally using on-device AI, and stores the recordings and transcripts on your Mac. All processing happens locally on your device.
3. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- Legal compliance: Ensuring your use of the App complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including privacy and recording consent laws in your jurisdiction
- Consent: Obtaining appropriate consent from all parties before recording conversations where required by law
- Content: All audio and transcripts recorded and stored using the App
- Data security: Protecting access to your device and the recordings stored on it
4. Recording Laws
Recording laws vary by jurisdiction. Some locations require all-party consent (everyone being recorded must agree), while others allow one-party consent (only the person doing the recording needs to consent). It is your responsibility to understand and comply with the laws in your area.
The App is intended for lawful purposes such as personal note-taking, meeting transcription with appropriate consent, and accessibility assistance.
5. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or business purposes.
Free tier: Includes limited recording time as specified in the App.
Paid licenses: Provide unlimited recording and additional features as described at the time of purchase. Lifetime licenses include all updates to the current major version.
6. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the App to:
- Record conversations without required consent
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on others' privacy rights
- Engage in surveillance or stalking
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
- Redistribute or resell the App
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Transcription accuracy may vary depending on audio quality, language, accents, and other factors. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any transcription.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
This includes, but is not limited to, damages arising from lost data, unauthorized recording, or legal consequences of your use of the App.
9. Refund Policy
Refunds for paid licenses are handled according to the policies of our payment processor (Paddle). Generally, refunds may be available within 30 days of purchase if you are unsatisfied with the App.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or our website.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete all copies.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

1. 規約の同意
AllSaid（以下「本アプリ」）をダウンロード、インストール、または使用することにより、お客様は本利用規約に拘束されることに同意したものとみなされます。本規約に同意されない場合は、本アプリを使用しないでください。
2. サービスの説明
AllSaidは、システム音声とマイクからの音声を録音し、デバイス上のAIを使用してローカルで文字起こしを行い、録音と文字起こしをMacに保存するmacOSアプリケーションです。すべての処理はお客様のデバイス上でローカルに行われます。
3. ユーザーの責任
お客様は以下について単独で責任を負います：
- 法令遵守：お客様の管轄区域のプライバシー法および録音同意法を含む、適用されるすべての法律および規制に本アプリの使用が準拠していることを確認すること
- 同意の取得：法律で義務付けられている場合、会話を録音する前にすべての当事者から適切な同意を得ること
- コンテンツ：本アプリを使用して録音・保存されたすべての音声および文字起こし
- データセキュリティ：お客様のデバイスおよびそこに保存された録音へのアクセスを保護すること
4. 録音に関する法律
録音に関する法律は管轄区域によって異なります。全員の同意が必要な地域（録音される全員が同意する必要がある）もあれば、一方当事者の同意のみで許可される地域もあります。お客様の地域の法律を理解し、遵守することはお客様の責任です。
本アプリは、個人的なメモ取り、適切な同意を得た会議の文字起こし、アクセシビリティ支援などの合法的な目的での使用を意図しています。
5. ライセンス
本規約に従い、当社はお客様に個人または業務目的で本アプリを使用するための限定的、非独占的、譲渡不可のライセンスを付与します。
無料プラン：アプリ内で指定された制限付きの録音時間が含まれます。
有料ライセンス：購入時に記載された無制限の録音および追加機能を提供します。買い切りライセンスには、現在のメジャーバージョンのすべてのアップデートが含まれます。
6. 禁止される使用
本アプリを以下の目的で使用することは禁止されています：
- 必要な同意なしに会話を録音すること
- 適用される法律や規制に違反すること
- 他者のプライバシー権を侵害すること
- 監視やストーキングを行うこと
- 本アプリをリバースエンジニアリング、逆コンパイル、または改変すること
- 本アプリを再配布または転売すること
7. 保証の免責
本アプリは、明示または黙示を問わず、いかなる種類の保証もなく「現状のまま」提供されます。当社は、本アプリがエラーフリー、中断なし、または有害なコンポーネントがないことを保証しません。
文字起こしの精度は、音声品質、言語、アクセントなどの要因によって異なる場合があります。当社は文字起こしの精度を保証しません。
8. 責任の制限
法律で許容される最大限の範囲において、当社は、本アプリの使用から生じる間接的、偶発的、特別、結果的、または懲罰的損害について責任を負いません。
これには、データの損失、無許可の録音、または本アプリの使用による法的結果から生じる損害が含まれますが、これらに限定されません。
9. 返金ポリシー
有料ライセンスの返金は、当社の決済代行業者（Paddle）のポリシーに従って処理されます。一般的に、本アプリにご満足いただけない場合、購入後30日以内であれば返金を受けられる場合があります。
10. 規約の変更
当社は随時本規約を更新する場合があります。変更後も本アプリを継続して使用することは、新しい規約に同意したことになります。重要な変更については、本アプリまたは当社のウェブサイトを通じてユーザーに通知します。
11. 終了
お客様が本規約に違反した場合、当社はお客様のライセンスを終了または停止する権利を有します。終了時には、本アプリの使用を停止し、すべてのコピーを削除する必要があります。
12. 準拠法
本規約は、抵触法の規定にかかわらず、日本の法律に準拠し、それに従って解釈されるものとします。
